How Black Friday 2020 Will Be Different
2020 has been difficult enough without having to line up outside your local Walmart 4:30 AM. Thankfully, last month Walmart announced they’re shaking Black-Friday up and making it easier than ever before to shop. According to a company press release, Walmart has decided to spread the Black Friday love across three separate events officially dubbed “Black Friday Deals for Days.”
Instead of a free-for-all on November 27th, Walmart will be coordinating three events spanning a total of three weeks, with both in-store and online deals. Better yet, all of the online deals qualify for contact-free curbside pickup.
When are the three events, what are the deals and how can you get yourself into the mix? Here’s how Black Friday Deals for Days will work.
Event One
Walmart’s Black Friday extravaganza kicks off online on Wednesday, November 4 at 7PM ET and features amazing deals on toys, electronics and home products. When we say amazing, we mean AMAZING. Week one’s online offerings include an onn. brand 42-inch UHD Roku TV for just $88 as well as the super-popular Hotel Style bath towels for only $5!
The savings move from online to in-person on Saturday, November 7 at 5AM local time and add even more Black Friday deals to Walmart’s fast growing list. If you do plan on stopping by the store in-person, you’ll be greeted by a $15 Magic Bullet Blender, a $40 New Bright RC Truck and a special Tire Event where customers will receive $20 off per tire alongside free, lifetime balance service from its Walmart Auto Care Centers on al modular Goodyear Branded tires.
Event Two
Walmart’s second week of online and in-store Black Friday deals begins on walmart.com on Wednesday, November 11 at 7PM and showcases a bunch of head-turning discounts on computers, tablets, movies, music, apparel and more.
If you’re in the market for a deep discount on a new laptop, TV or vacuum, then plan to be online on November 11. If you’re quick enough, you may be able to nab a 50” onn. brand 4K TV for just $128, a 55” TCL 4K TV for $148, a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 for $149, or a Shark IQ Robot RV1000 Wi-Fi Vacuum for $199.
Walmart will be adding to the second event’s discount list as part of the in-store leg of the second event on November 14th at 5 AM local time. The in store deals include a Keurig K-Compact Brewer for $35 (reg. $59), a Corelle 20-Pc. Dinnerware Set for $20, 2-Pc. Toddler Sleepwear Sets for $4.75, an iPhone SE for $199 (reg. $349) and more!
Event Three
As expected, many of the most aggressive deals that will be available during Walmart’s Black Fridays Deals for Days campaign are restricted to the promotion’s final week. After all, that’s when Black Friday is actually scheduled to take place – and Walmart is making sure you’ll have huge deals to shop on November 27.
The deals for “Event Three” begin online on November 25, with new in-store deals taking effect on Saturday, November 27 at 5AM local time.
The deals have yet to be officially released, but you can expect to see even better deals on even more electronics, toys and gifts across apparel and home alongside season décor. Just about everything you could want for the holidays will likely see discounts online at Walmart’s website.
